The Wildest Amathole Action Adventure: 6 day – 5 nights @ R5450.00
Day 1 Arrive at Elundini Backpackers – enjoy a traditional Xhosa dinner in the heart of Elundini Village and overnight in their comfy Xhosa rondavel accommodation.
Day 2 Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the valley and join our local guide as you hike up into the Amathole mountains and over the escarpment. Savor a delicious picnic lunch at a secret waterfall and then head through beautiful plantations towards Hogsback and Terra-Khaya.
Day 3 Saddle up on our friendly steeds for a half/full day horse-ride high into the Hogsback mountains with packed lunch from a spectacular view point. (Full-day ride optional extra R300.00) Enjoy a braai dinner round a raging bonfire back at Terra-Khaya.
Day 4 After breakfast indulge yourself in the magic of the Tyhume Indigenous Forest. Visit the big tree and enjoy scintillating waterfalls and rivers. Visit one of our local pubs for lunch and explore the hamlet of Hogsback before returning to Terra-Khaya for dinner, a hot bath and comfy bed. (Abseiling down Madonna & Child waterfall optional extra R275.00)
Day 5 Gear up for an invigorating downhill mountain bike experience, down the challenging Michell’s pass, through Seymour village back to Elundini Backpackers for your last comfy night of an unreal Amathole Extreme Adventure.
Day 6 Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast as you ease your sore mussels into the reality of the other life, alternatively indulge yourself some more with a Xhosa village tour (optional extra R50.00pp)
